HS254 Single-pole Low-power Hall Effect Switch for Toys

The HS254 Hall Effect Sensor is a temperature stable, stress resistant, low sensitivity tolerance micropower Hall switch.
Excellent high temperature performance is achieved through dynamic offset cancellation utilizing chopper stabilization techniques. This approach reduces the offset voltage typically caused by device
overmolding, temperature dependency, and thermal stress.
The HS254 is designed for low operating voltage (1.65V) and the chip contains the following functions on a single silicon die: voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, signal amplifier, chopper stabilizer, Schmitt trigger, CMOS output driver. Advanced CMOS wafer fabrication processes are used to take advantage of low voltage requirements, component matching, very low input offset errors, and small component geometries. The device requires a unipolar magnetic field to operate.
CAUTION: Anti-static - Please observe ESD precautions. Reverse VDD protection is not included. For reverse voltage protection, a 100Ω resistor in series with VDD is recommended.
