HS621 Application principle of non-polarity Hall element in juice cup

The principle of the Hall sensor in the juicer: mainly detect whether the juicer is in a completely closed state. Only when the start button is completely closed can the motor work normally to prevent juice splashing and overflowing. Since it is battery-powered, a low-power omnipolar Hall sensor is required.

The voltage range of the omnipolar Hall sensor is generally between 2.4 and 6V, low-voltage startup, and power consumption of about 3 microamperes, which meets the power consumption of portable juicers. Due to the high competitive pressure of juicers and high cost-effectiveness requirements for juicers, high-performance and stable Hall sensors should be used in juicers to increase market share. This HS621 micro-power omnipolar Hall switch chip is recommended, with a voltage between 2.5 and 5.5V and a Hall sensor with good stability. Recommended model: HS621 non-polar low-sensitivity Hall switch

HS621 is an omnipolar Hall effect sensor based on mixed-signal CMOS technology. This IC uses advanced chopper stabilization technology, so it can provide accurate and stable magnetic switch points.
In terms of circuit design, HS621 provides an embedded controlled clock mechanism to provide a clock source for the Hall device and analog signal processing circuit. At the same time, this controlled clock mechanism can send a control signal to make the circuit with high current consumption enter the "sleep" mode periodically; through this mechanism, the chip is periodically "woken up" and detects the strength of the magnetic field passing through the Hall device according to the predetermined magnetic field strength threshold. If the magnetic flux density is higher than the "operating point" threshold or lower than the "release point" threshold, the open-drain output transistor is driven and latched into the corresponding state. During the "sleep" cycle, the output transistor is locked in its previous state. In battery-powered applications, this design provides the best support for extending the working life.

The output transistor of HS621 will be locked in the open (BOP) state when there is a certain strong south or north magnetic field on the side facing the package marking, and locked in the off (BRP) state when there is no magnetic field.
