HS491 is a small universal linear Hall effect sensor. Its output signal level depends on the strength of the magnetic field applied to the sensitive surface of the device and changes proportionally with the strength of the magnetic field.
When HS491 is in zero magnetic field condition, its output voltage is half of the power supply voltage. When the S pole appears on the HS491 marking surface, the output voltage will increase linearly with the increase of magnetic field strength; on the contrary, the N pole will make the output voltage decrease linearly with the increase of magnetic field strength. HS491 has the characteristics of low noise output and no external filtering is required. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 85℃, which is suitable for various commercial and consumer electronic applications.
