HS493 is a small, general-purpose, linear Hall effect sensor. Its output signal level depends on the strength of the magnetic field applied to the sensitive surface of the device and changes proportionally with the magnetic field strength. When HS493 is in zero magnetic field conditions, its output voltage is half of the power supply voltage. When the S pole of the TO-92S package product appears on the HS493 marking surface, the output voltage will decrease linearly with the increase of the magnetic field strength, and the N pole will make the output voltage increase linearly with the increase of the magnetic field strength. The SOT23 package sensing polarity is just the opposite.
HS493 has the characteristics of low noise output and no longer requires external filtering. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 150℃, suitable for a variety of commercial and consumer electronic applications.
